Libraries and Schools in Cuba:
o Books for adults (fiction and non-fiction) in Spanish
o Textbooks and story books for children in Spanish
o Picture Books for Small Children (Spanish or English OK)
o Scientific/Medical/Technical Books in Spanish (preferably no more
than 5 years old; should be currently relevant)
o Braille or Large Print Books in Spanish
Note:
o Books may be new or used but should be in good condition.

Hospitals in Cuba:
o Over-the-Counter Medicines (aspirin, vitamins, pain relievers, cold-flu
remedies etc.)
o Prescription Medicine (especially for asthma and hypertension)
o First Aid Supplies (band aids, ace bandages, gauze, tape, ointments,
etc.)
o Medical Supplies (disposables -- latex gloves, syringes, IV bags,
etc.)
o Medical Equipment (diagnostic and treatment equipment, blood pressure
cuffs, assistive devices --wheel chairs, crutches, canes, braces,
etc.)
o Linens (sheets, pillow cases, towels, hospital robes & johnnies,
etc.)
o Anti-infection Supplies (soap, disinfectant cleansers, hand cleaners,
